Honoring Family
Milldale Farm Since 1972
"Oma" Eva and "Opa" Franz Schweitzer
Eva and Franz immigrated to this country with a bunch of love and owned little to nothing with hopes to develop a family, business and enjoy the freedoms this country offered. Through love, hard work, values, morals and vision they found sanctuary here and created a large family. They found this farm in Vermont and provided this space to their family as a safe place to retreat and celebrate their love. Today our mission grows as we share this space with you to enjoy and find sanctuary here as well. Franz and Eva's Grandchildren help sustain the farm and offer what you see here today. Thank You Oma and Opa for all the love, opportunity and support! We love and honor you.
What was once a beef cattle farm, now is a natural sanctuary, home for many, a place to practice yoga and healing arts, outdoor recreation, and where many horses that were in need found a loving home.
